Decriminalize Homelessness
immoral, punishment for being poor, no option to be legal without begging from the state or charity
keeps homeless from recovery or getting right with society as they cannot pay the tickets
(M)enormous cost to taxpayer for incarceration
criminal record is an additional barrier to recovery
Remove regulatory boundaries to working
(S)licensing requirements
(S)minimum wage
(S&F)complex tax system
(M)legalize street vendors
(S&F)deregulate businesses as much as possible
(S&F) Decriminalize drugs
keeps addicts in hiding, or adds fuel to isolation and despair that is the basis for their addiction
creates a dangerous black market
prevents users from verifying purity of drugs with objective third parties so more die from overdoses or tainted drugs
immoral and unjust. Don't hurt people who hurt themselves
